1. International Conference on "Privacy, Cybersecurity & E-Commerce: Law, Policy & Compliance"
The Center for American & European Studies and the Center for Science & Technology are honored to invite you to take part in the 3rd International Conference on "Privacy, Cybersecurity & E-Commerce: Law, Policy & Compliance".
The goal of the conference is to discuss the issue of Privacy, Cybersecurity & E-Commerce through an interdisciplinary prism of law, policy changes, compliance standards, and changes in technology.
The conference will be focused on contemporary and future challenges in the most dynamically developing sectors such as social media, digital privacy or cloud security.
The conference will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 4:30 AM (CET) to 9 AM (CET) online on the Microsoft Teams platform. CET is Warsaw/Berlin/Rome/Prague time.
Participation for international speakers is free per the use of a #SpringScholars code after one’s name in the registration form.

27–28 листопада 2025 року студенти та аспіранти факультету комп’ютерних наук та кібернетики взяли участь у V Міжнародній студентській конференції з кібербезпеки СКІФіК-2025, організованій кафедрою комп’ютерних систем, мереж і кібербезпеки Харківського авіаційного інституту. Захід проходив онлайн та об’єднав молодих науковців для обговорення актуальних питань захисту інформації.
Від нашого факультету виступили з доповідями магістри ОНП «Бізнес-інформатика» Олексій Астраханцев та Микола Васильчук, а також аспірант кафедри математичної інформатики Дмитро Сатановський.

Особливу відзнаку отримав Олексій Астраханцев, чия робота «Мультимодальна платформа квантифікації ризиків» була визнана однією з найкращих серед учасників. Організаційний комітет офіційно підтвердив високу оцінку його доповіді, а спонсори конференції підготували приз.

07 листопада 2025 року в Київському національному університеті імені Тараса Шевченка відбулася всеуніверситетська конференція студентів, аспірантів та молодих вчених «Штучний інтелект та технології в науковій діяльності».
У програмі заходу було представлено 18 доповідей здобувачів із різних факультетів та інститутів. До рецензування тез доповідей долучилися викладачі факультету комп’ютерних наук та кібернетики, забезпечивши високий рівень наукової дискусії.

Vic Castro (France) is currently a visiting researcher at the Institute of International Relations at TSNUK. She received her PhD in political science from the University of Copenhagen in 2024. She is currently an independent researcher, but will soon begin working at Copenhagen Business School.

Open lectures by Professor Nicholas Cogan (Florida State University, USA)
We invite students, postgraduates and lecturers to attend open lectures by Professor of Mathematics Nicholas Cogan from Florida State University (USA).
This is Professor Cogan's second visit this year: last year, he visited our faculty for the first time, familiarised himself with educational programmes and scientific projects, and joined the organising committee of the IT&I-2024 conference and the editorial board of the journal ‘Bulletin KNU. Physical and Mathematical Sciences'. The prospects for joint hackathons, summer schools, and conferences were discussed. The professor highly appreciated the democratic academic environment of the faculty and noted the stability of the team in the conditions of war.
This time, Professor Kogan will present a series of lectures on ‘Computer-Aided Disease Treatment and Drug Development,’ dedicated to the application of Data Science methods in medicine and pharmaceuticals:
